Topographical Surveys

Topographical Surveys are carried out using Leica fully robotic total stations and Leica 1200 GNSS (GPS and GLONASS). We also employ SmartNet, a recent technological development.

Surveys are carried out to meet the customer's individual needs. These vary from a most basic boundary and level survey (often used for initial feasibility) to highly detailed complex plans for redevelopment.

Planning Applications

We regularly undertake surveys for clients large and small ranging from single terraced houses to large industrial plants and retail establishments. Our specifications are tailored to the individual project and can meet the requirements of Planning Authorities, Architectural Offices and Designers amongst others.

Current clients include public sector bodies and commercial companies both large and small. Recent multiple site commissions include 22 stores for one of the 4 major supermarket chains and 9 secondary school surveys commissioned under the BSF scheme.

Surveys related to British National Grid

Our surveys can be related to both British National Grid and mean sea level. We also have the capability to re-establish control of your existing surveys.

Transportation

We are fully Link-Up approved which allows us to undertake work on Network Rail Infrastructure. Our surveyors also have experience working on highways.

Outputs

Outputs can be provided in many formats including AutoCAD DWG, Microstation, Genio, pdf and hard copy.

In order to provide you with a no obligation quotation, we require the following information:-

• An address (preferably with postcode).
• A brief description of the proposed project.
• Likely uses (both current and future) of the survey.

A copy of any photographs, aerial imagery and maps of the site is also useful if these exist.
